LABORATORY ACCREDITATION – IEC/ISO 17025

PV Solar Energy Inverter Testing Laboratory (PVL) was awarded as Accredited Laboratory MS ISO/IEC 17025 through Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia (SAMM) on 19 July 2017. The project team has gone through the process almost three years with support by University. The technical experts were sent to TUV SUD (China) for the training of compliance certification. The PVL was audited for Compliance Assessment on 21 June 2017 by Department of Standards Malaysia and the audited process has gone smoothly. Through this accreditation, UMPEDAC is able to provide a service for Photovoltaic Inverter Testing from 100 W up to 10 kW, and types of testing cover under this accreditation are Power factor, Current harmonics, Direct current injection, Under and over-voltage, Under and over frequency, Response to utility recovery, Voltage Flicker and Anti-Islanding.
